Removal & Installation (4.3L)

NOTE:
The TP sensor is an electrical component. DO NOT soak the TP sensor in any liquid cleaner or solvent as damage may result.
Remove the engine cover. Remove the Throttle Position (TP) sensor harness connector. See Fig 1. Remove the TP sensor attaching fasteners. See Fig 2. Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body assembly. See Fig 3. With the throttle valve closed, install the TP sensor on the throttle shaft. Rotate the TP sensor counterclockwise in order to align the mounting holes. Install the TP sensor attaching fasteners. Install the TP sensor harness connector. Install the engine cover.
