Removal & Installation (4.8L, 5.3L & 6.0L)

Remove the fuel sender assembly. See FUEL SENDER ASSEMBLY . Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector (1). See Figure. Remove the retaining clip (2) from the fuel level sensor connector. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from under the fuel sender cover. Remove the sensor retaining clip (4). Squeeze the locking tangs and remove the fuel level sensor (5). To install, reverse removal procedure.
