Removal & Installation (2.2L)

NOTE: Solenoid valve may also be referred to as AIR pump solenoid.

Turn ignition off. Raise and support vehicle. Locate AIR pump solenoid. AIR pump solenoid is located on AIR pump. See Figure. Disconnect vacuum line from AIR pump solenoid. Disconnect AIR pump solenoid harness connector. Remove AIR pump solenoid from AIR pump bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
