Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the valve rocker arm cover. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement .

    Important:  Be sure that valve train components are kept together and identified so that they can be installed in their original location.

  2. Remove the rocker arm assemblies.

  3. Remove the pushrods.
  4. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to VALVE ROCKER ARM AND PUSH RODS CLEANING AND INSPECTION .
