Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil pump drive bolt.
  3. Use a lifting and turning motion to remove the oil pump drive.
  4. Inspect the oil pump drive shaft for excessive wear or damage.
