Fuel Injection Pump: Notes

CAUTION:
DO NOT engage starter motor in order to rotate engine when fuel injection pump is removed. Severe engine damage will occur. With fuel injection pump removed, pump driven gear could jam in front housing, resulting in a sheared crankshaft or camshaft gear key and possible valve train damage. Always rotate engine by hand.
