Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Fully seat the heater cartridge against the engine block and ensure the retaining clip snaps in place. The final orientation of the wire harness should be in the 3 o'clock position. Turn the retaining clip 90 degrees from the wire harness to the 12 o'clock position.

  2. Ensure the wire harness cartridge plug is fully seated onto the cartridge.
  3. Ensure the main wire harness clip is fully seated.
  4. Route the heater wire harness as shown.

  5. Tuck the heater wire harness below the junction box on the outside of the battery.
  6. Tuck the 110V heater plug in the space in between the battery and headlamp assembly (1).
  7. Clip the heater wire harness on the outside of the battery (2).
  8. Ensure that the 110V plug tie-strap securely holds the wire bundle and the protector cap is fully seated on the plug.
