Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Remove the lower drive belt tensioner bolt (6).
  4. Remove the upper drive belt tensioner nut and slide the assembly off the stud.
