Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the exhaust camshaft sprocket bolt.

  2. Remove the camshaft sprocket.

  3. Remove the camshaft timing gear and camshaft bearing cap No.1
  4. Remove the exhaust camshaft bearing cap bolts in sequence. Starting at the ends and working toward the center of the camshaft.
  5. Remove the front camshaft bearing cap (5).
  6. Remove the exhaust camshaft from the cylinder head.
