Engine Mounts: Installation

  1. Install engine mount bracket onto the frame.
  2. Loosely install the engine mount bracket through-bolts.
  3. Position engine mount to engine.
  4. Loosely install engine mount-to-engine bolts.
  5. Tighten engine mount bracket through-bolts and engine mount-to-engine bolts. Tighten the engine mount bracket through bolts to specification. Tighten engine mount-to-engine bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Install engine shield and bolts. Tighten engine shield bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  7. Lower engine.
  8. Install oil pan skid plate and bolts (if equipped). Tighten oil pan skid plate bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  9. Install engine mount heat shield.
  10. Install engine mount-to-engine mount bracket bolts. Tighten engine mount-to-engine mount bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  11. Install wheelhouse inner panel.
  12. Install wheelhouse inner panel push pin retainers.
  13. Install left front tire and wheel.
  14. Lower vehicle.
