Intake Manifold: Disassembly

  1. Remove throttle body nuts and throttle body.
  2. Remove and discard throttle body gasket.
  3. Remove MAP sensor bolt and MAP sensor.
  4. Inspect MAP sensor seal for damage.
  5. Remove EGR valve nuts, EGR valve and EGR valve gasket.
  6. Discard EGR valve gasket.
  7. Remove EGR adapter nuts, EGR adapter and EGR adapter gasket.
  8. Discard EGR adapter gasket.
  9. Remove purge solenoid vacuum hose.
  10. Remove purge solenoid bolt and purge solenoid.
  11. Inspect purge solenoid seal for damage. Replace seal as needed.
