Intake Manifold: Assembly

  1. Apply a very light film of clean engine oil to purge solenoid seal.
  2. Install purge solenoid.
  3. Apply thread adhesive to purge solenoid bolt threads.
  4. Install and tighten purge solenoid bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Install purge solenoid vacuum hose.
  6. Install EGR adapter gasket.
  7. Install EGR adapter.
  8. Install and tighten EGR adapter nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  9. Install EGR valve gasket and EGR valve.
  10. Install and tighten EGR valve nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  11. Install MAP sensor. Tighten MAP sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  12. Install throttle body gasket. Install throttle body.
  13. Install throttle body nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
