Boost Sensor: Installation

  1. Install the sensor to the bracket. Install the bracket (with sensor). Connect the vacuum line to the sensor. Install the boost sensor bracket bolt and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the boost sensor electrical connector. Install the upper intake manifold cover. Install the upper intake manifold cover to the outlet duct. Tighten the outlet duct clamp at the upper intake manifold cover to specification.


  1. Position the sensor onto the bracket. Install the bracket (with sensor) over the stud. Position the coolant tube) over the stud. Install the boost sensor bracket nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the boost sensor electrical connector. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS.
