Fan Shroud (Upper): Installation

  1. Install the upper fan shroud. Install the fan shroud bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the fan shroud retainers.
  2. Connect the TCM electrical connectors. Install the TCM and cover. Tighten the TCM electrical connector bolts to specification. Install the TCM cover to the fan shroud. Install the TCM cover bolts and tighten to specification.
  3. Install the engine harness clip to the PCM cover. Install the A/C line retainer to the fan shroud. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS.


  1. Install the upper fan shroud. Install the fan shroud bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the fan shroud retainers.
  2. If equipped install the inlet radiator hose retainer to the fan shroud If equipped install the throttle body heater hose retainer to the fan shroud.
  3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS.
