Fuel Transfer Pump (Cab & Chassis - With Auxiliary Tank): Notes

WARNING:
Replace the "O" ring seals exposed during component service in order to reduce the risk of fire and personal injury that may result from a fuel leak.
NOTE:
On vehicles equipped with dual fuel tanks, an electric fuel transfer pump is located on the left frame rail. This fuel transfer pump is powered by the fuel pump relay that is controlled by the ECM. Fuel is transferred from the auxiliary fuel tank to the primary fuel tank in order to ensure all of the usable fuel volume is available to the fuel injection pump.
