Fuel Transfer Pump (Cab & Chassis - With Auxiliary Tank): Installation

Remove the caps from the fuel pipes. Install NEW fuel pipe "O" rings. Position the NEW pump in the pump bracket. Connect the fuel pipes to the fuel pump. Use a backup wrench to prevent the pump from turning. Tighten the fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the fuel pump electrical connector. Lower the vehicle. Install the fuel fill cap. Prime fuel system, if necessary. See FUEL SYSTEM PRIMING .
