Fuel System Cooler: Installation

Install the fuel cooler to the chassis crossmember. Install the fuel cooler nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the fuel pipes to the fuel cooler. See QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS (METAL COLLAR) . Lower the vehicle. Install fuel fill cap. Purge the air from the fuel system. See FUEL SYSTEM PRIMING . Start the engine and inspect for fuel leaks.



  1. Install the fuel cooler support bracket, and bolts to the fuel cooler, if necessary. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the fuel cooler to the chassis and crossover. Install the fuel cooler bolts and Tighten to specification.
  2. Connect the fuel pipes to the fuel cooler. See QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS (METAL COLLAR) . Lower the vehicle. Purge the air from the fuel system. See FUEL SYSTEM PRIMING . Start the engine and inspect for fuel leaks.
