Fuel Sender Assembly: Removal

Remove the fuel tank. See FUEL TANK . Disconnect the fuel pipes from the fuel sender assembly. See QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS (PLASTIC COLLAR) . Using Fuel Tank Sending Unit Wrench (J-44402), remove the fuel sender assembly lock ring. Remove the fuel sender assembly and seal. Discard the seal. Clean the sender assembly sealing surfaces.
