Installation (Without Suction Screen)

  1. Insert Suction Screen Kit sizing tool into the suction hose to select the correct size suction screen. See Figure. Insert the suction screen into the compressor end of the suction hose.
  2. Install the correct mandrel. See Figure. Install the screen installation tool over the end of the suction hose and the suction screen. See Figure.
    3. NOTE: Correct placement of suction screen is critical.
  3. Tighten the forcing screw. The suction screen is fully installed when the screen is flush with the end of the suction hose fitting. Remove the suction screen tool from the suction hose.
  4. Install an A/C refrigerant filter. See A/C REFRIGERANT FILTER . Install the suction screen notification label.
