Removal (All Models)

  1. Recover the refrigerant. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Remove the suction hose mounting bolt from the A/C compressor. Remove the suction hose from the A/C compressor. See Figure.
  2. Remove the suction hose nut from the accumulator. See Fig 1. Remove the suction hose from the accumulator. Remove the suction hose assembly from the vehicle. Discard all of the used sealing washers. Cap the system openings.
