Installation (All Models)

  1. Uncap or unplug the evaporator tube. Install the new O-ring seal. See O-RING. Install the short screen end of the new orifice into the evaporator tube.
  2. Connect the evaporator tube at the fitting. See Figure. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Evacuate and recharge the system. See RECOVERY/EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Leak test the fittings of the repaired component using Halogen Leak Detector.
