Removal (Rear Auxiliary - Avalanche, Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe & Yukon)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Separate the front of the overhead console from the headliner. Push the assembly rearward and pull down in order to access the retaining tabs. Remove the auxiliary HVAC control assembly by releasing the tabs at the rear of the control and push out from the rear. Disconnect the electrical connector. See Fig 1.
