Installation (Auxiliary - Avalanche, Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe & Yukon)

  1. Install the auxiliary A/C evaporator tubes to the vehicle. Install the auxiliary A/C evaporator tubes to the clamps. Install the heater/A/C tubes retaining nut to the stud at the frame. See Figure. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the auxiliary A/C evaporator tubes and the retaining nut to the auxiliary HVAC module. See Figure. Tighten to specification. Lower the vehicle. Install the right front wheelhouse.
  3. Install the auxiliary A/C evaporator tubes to the condenser tube and the accumulator. See Figure. Tighten to specification. Recharge the refrigerant to the system. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Leak test the fittings of the component using a Leak Detector.
