Camshaft Position Sensor: Removal

Remove the coolant recovery reservoir. Rotate the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise and remove the drive belt. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor. See Figure. Remove the CMP sensor bolt. Remove the CMP sensor from the engine front cover.
