Mass Air Flow/Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Installation

- Ensure to point the arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor away from the air cleaner box. Install the MAF/IAT sensor. Tighten the MAF/IAT sensor clamp at the air cleaner box to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the MAF/IAT sensor. Tighten the air cleaner resonator outlet duct clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor to specification. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector.
- Ensure to point the arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor away from the air cleaner box. Install the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner assembly. Tighten the MAF/IAT clamp to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector. Push in the Gray CPA retainer. Install the cleaner resonator outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER RESONATOR OUTLET DUCT under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS.
- Locate the air flow direction arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor. Install the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner assembly. Tighten the MAF/IAT clamp to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector. Install the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER RESONATOR OUTLET DUCT under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS.
