EVAP Canister: Installation

  1. Install the EVAP canister. Install the EVAP canister nuts and tighten the nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Lower the vehicle. Connect the EVAP vent valve pipe to the EVAP canister. Connect the fuel feed/return and EVAP pipe assembly to the EVAP canister. Connect the fuel tank EVAP pipe to the EVAP canister.


  1. Install the EVAP canister to the bracket. Install the EVAP pipe to the EVAP canister, and retaining clip. Install the EVAP canister. Install the EVAP canister bracket bolt and tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the EVAP vent valve pipe to the EVAP canister. Connect the fuel tank EVAP pipe to the EVAP canister. Connect EVAP purge pipe at fitting near side of EVAP canister. Lower the vehicle.
