Removal (4.8L, 5.3L & 6.0l)

  1. The Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module is located in rear of engine compartment, near underhood fuse block. See Figure. Disconnect the instrument panel (I/P) harness electrical connector. Release the Red Connector Position Assurance (CPA) retainer.
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector. Remove the TAC module nuts. Remove the TAC module.
