Removal (4.3L)

  1. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow/Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector.
  2. Loosen the air cleaner outlet resonator clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor and separate the outlet resonator from the MAT/IAT sensor.
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly by pulling upward until the mounting studs are free from the grommets.
