Input & Output Shaft Speed Sensor 2.2L (A/T): Removal

Turn off the ignition. Remove control valve body cover and remove control valve body assembly. See appropriate OVERHAUL article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. Remove the bolts and the input and output speed sensor assembly from the transaxle case assembly. See Figure .
