Removal (Quick-Connect Fittings)

WARNING:
Wear safety glasses when using compressed air, as flying dirt particles may cause eye injury.
- Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Grasp both ends of one fuel line connection and twist 1/4 turn in each direction to loosen any dirt in the quick-connect fitting.
- Blow any dirt out of the fitting, using compressed air. Squeeze the plastic release tabs for nylon fitting. See Figure . Use Fuel Line Disconnect Set (J37088A) for stainless steel fittings or use Fuel Line Separator (SA9805E) for EVAP purge lines. Pull the connection apart.
