Spring Bumper: Removal

NOTE: spring bumper may also be referred to as jounce bumper.
NOTE: On 15 series utility models, spring bumper is a snap-fit component. It is replaced by prying from its mounting and snapping its replacement into position.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Spring bumper is located on bottom of frame rail directly above rear axle housing.
  2. On all except 15 series utilities, remove the spring bumper mounting bolt. Remove spring bumper. On 15 series utility models, unsnap and remove spring bumper.
