Shock Absorber (25 Series Utility): Installation

  1. Install the shock absorber.
  2. Install the upper shock absorber nut and bolt. See Figure .
  3. Install the lower shock absorber nut and bolt. Tighten upper and lower shock absorber nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Remove the rear axle support.
  5. Connect the RTD sensor harness connector to the vehicle harness connector (if equipped).
  6. Connect the RTD electrical harness connector at the top of the right shock (if equipped).
  7. On left side, connect the RTD electrical harness connector at the pigtail connector (if equipped). See Figure .
  8. Remove safety stands.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
