Shock Absorber (15 Series Utility Without Level Control): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle.
Disconnect the electrical connector and air line if equipped with Real Time Damping (RTD). See Fig 1 .
Support the rear axle.
Disconnect the Real Time Damping (RTD) sensor harness connector from the vehicle harness connector (if equipped).
Remove the upper shock absorber nut and the bolt. See Fig 2 .
Remove the lower shock absorber nut and the bolt.
