Shock Absorber (15 Series Utility Without Level Control): Installation

  1. Install the shock absorber.
  2. Install the upper shock absorber nut and bolt. See Figure .
  3. Install the lower shock absorber nut and bolt. Tighten upper and lower shock absorber nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Connect the electrical connector and air line if equipped with RTD. See Figure .
  5. Connect the RTD sensor harness connector to the vehicle harness connector (if equipped).
  6. Remove the support from the rear axle.
  7. Remove the safety stands.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
