Rear Axle Upper Control Arm: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the Real Time Damping (RTD) sensor harness connector from the vehicle harness connector (if equipped).
  3. Remove the retaining nut and bolt from the frame bracket at the front of the upper control arm. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove the retaining nut and bolt from the axle bracket at the rear of the upper control arm. See Fig 2 .
  5. Remove the upper control arm.
