Rear Axle Lower Control Arm: Installation

  1. Install the lower control arm.
  2. Install the lower control arm retaining bolts. See Figure .
  3. NOTE: DO NOT tighten the bolts unless the suspension is at the curb ride height.
  4. Install the lower control arm retaining nut. DO NOT tighten control arm retaining nut at this time.
  5. Remove the rear axle support.
  6. Lower the vehicle. Tighten the lower control arm retaining nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
