Preliminary Inspection

Check the following items prior to performing any test procedures:

Check any wiper system fuses.
Check chassis ground point located behind driver's side kick panel, near fuse box.
Check wiper arm and blade condition.
If some (but not all) delay or low speeds are inoperative, replace multifunction switch.
Ensure any aftermarket equipment is installed properly, and does not interfere with operation of wiper/washer system.

If problem is found repair as necessary, and then perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK . If no problem is found, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX table under SYSTEM TESTS.
