Mass Airflow/Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Cadillac Seville and 2003 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Mass Airflow/Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor is mounted to the air filter housing. See Figure. Turn ignition off. Disconnect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector. Remove the clamps securing the MAF/IAT sensor assembly to the air cleaner and air cleaner intake air duct. Carefully remove the MAF/IAT sensor from the air cleaner and air cleaner intake air duct.
