Secondary Air Vacuum Control Solenoid

NOTE: Secondary AIR vacuum control solenoid is also referred to as secondary air vacuum control valve
  1. Remove the 2 nuts from the fuel injector sight shield. Lift the sight shield from the front and pull forward to disengage the rear tab from the bracket. Disconnect the AIR vacuum control valve electrical connector. Disconnect the vacuum lines. Remove the nut securing the AIR vacuum control valve to the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve bracket.
  2. Remove the AIR vacuum control valve. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the AIR vacuum control valve nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Keeping the injector sight shield as level as possible, place the rear of the shield under the mounting bracket. Align and press the injector sight shield onto the mounting studs. Install the mounting nuts onto the mounting studs and tighten nuts to specification.
