Removal & Installation: Thermostat: Notes

CAUTION:
If engine and cooling system are hot, allow engine to cool before releasing pressure on cooling system and removing thermostat.
NOTE:
Thermostat will not function correctly once it is contacted by oil. If oil is found in the cooling system, it must be flushed and the thermostat replaced.
