Removal & Disassembly

NOTE:
Oil pump gear rotors may also be referred to as gears.
Remove engine front cover and oil pan. See OIL PUMP under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Place Identification marks on both oil pump gear faces for installation reference. Remove cover plate and rotors. Remove oil pump pressure relief valve. Remove oil pump regulator valve. See Fig 1.
