Hub & Bearing Assembly: Installation

  1. Install the park brake actuator to the rear wheel bearing/hub. See PARK BRAKE ACTUATOR .
  2. Install the wheel bearing/hub and park brake assembly to the knuckle. See Figure.
  3. Install the wheel bearing/hub-to-knuckle bolts. Tighten the bolts to 55 Ft. Lbs. (75 N.m).
  4. Install the park brake cable to the park brake actuator. See PARK BRAKE CABLE .
  5. Install the ABS electrical connector to the wheel speed sensor, if equipped. See Figure.
  6. Install the brake rotor. See REAR BRAKE ROTOR .
  7. Install the tires and wheels.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
