Throttle Position Sensor: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition off. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  under FUEL SYSTEMS. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. See AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect the EVAP purge line. See Figure . Disconnect the fuel lines. See FUEL LINE DISCONNECT FITTINGS  under FUEL SYSTEMS.
  2. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector. See Figure . Remove the 2 TP sensor bolts. Remove the TP sensor and "O" ring.
