Mass Airflow Sensor: Removal

The Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor is mounted to the air filter housing. See Figure . Turn ignition off. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector. Disconnect the of the MAF sensor electrical connector. Loosen the air inlet duct clamp from the MAF sensor. Loosen the MAF sensor clamp from the air filter housing. Remove the air inlet duct from the MAF sensor and the throttle body. Remove the MAF sensor from the air filter housing.
