Idle Air Control Valve: Removal

Remove the accelerator control cable bracket from the throttle body. See ACCELERATOR CONTROLS CABLE BRACKET  under MISCELLANEOUS. Remove the canister purge valve. Disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve electrical connector. See Figure . Remove the IAC valve attaching screws. Remove the IAC valve. Remove the IAC valve "O" ring.
