Removal & Installation

  1. Loosen the 2 intake air duct clamps from the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor and the throttle body. See Fig 1 . Disconnect the vent tube from the air cleaner intake duct. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  2. Unlatch the air cleaner cover clips and remove the air cleaner intake duct and air cleaner cover. Separate the air cleaner intake duct from the MAF sensor and throttle body Remove air cleaner intake duct. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the air cleaner intake duct clamps to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
