Removal & Installation

- Drain the fuel tank below the level of the fuel filler hose. See FUEL TANK DRAINING . Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the wheel house filler pipe opening cover. See Figure . Remove the fuel tank filler pipe ground wire bolt. Remove the fuel filler pipe clamp. Remove the fuel filler pipe.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the fuel filler pipe clamp to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
