Throttle Body: Installation

  1. Position the NEW throttle body gasket on to the throttle body. Install the throttle body. Tighten the throttle body bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install accelerator control bracket bolts to the throttle body.
  2. Install the IAC valve electrical connector. Install the TP sensor electrical connector. Install the accelerator control cable at the throttle body lever. Install the cruise control cable at the throttle body lever. Install the accelerator control cable to the accelerator controls cable bracket.
  3. Install the cruise control cable to the accelerator controls cable bracket. Install the transaxle shift cable clip to the accelerator controls cable bracket. Install the fuel feed and return lines from the retainer on to the accelerator controls cable bracket. Install the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install and tighten the air cleaner intake duct clamp. Install the PCV valve fresh air tube. Align and press the injector sight shield onto the mounting studs. See Fig 3 . Install the mounting nuts onto the mounting studs and tighten nuts. Install the negative battery cable. Install the rear seat cushion.
