Air Cleaner Element: Removal

Disconnect the Mass Air Flow Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector. Loosen the clamp connecting the intake air duct to the throttle body. Disconnect the intake air from the throttle body. Disengage both air cleaner cover latches. Remove the air cleaner cover. Inspect the air cleaner housing assembly for damage. If a problem is found, replace the assembly as necessary. Remove the air filter element.
