Mass Airflow Sensor: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect MAF sensor harness connector. See Figure . MAF sensor is located in center of engine compartment, behind air filter housing. Release air cleaner cover retaining clips. See Figure .
  2. Loosen hose clamp at rear of MAF sensor. Remove MAF sensor and air cleaner housing from vehicle. Loosen hose clamp connecting MAF sensor to air cleaner housing. Remove MAF sensor from air cleaner housing.
